TEAM MINNESOTA BOX

We are committed to continuing our promise of developing lacrosse players by focusing on improving decision making and proper fundamentals via positive coaching and playing top competition.  Many of the skills and fundamentals that are attributed to box lacrosse have always been, and always will be,  a part of our base curriculum. We believe playing box is beneficial to improving a players game.

WHY BOX?

Box lacrosse provides an environment where players can broaden their stick skills, improve decision making, and increase confidence.

The ball is always in play, which creates play that is in constant motion with quick possession changes. Players are forced to be creative and physical due to the limited space.

We believe that a high volume of quality reps is critical to a players development. Playing in a box environment gives players, with proper coaching, an opportunity for countless quality reps.

Box for Girls

Box lacrosse, it's not just for boys! It teaches girls physical play often seen at the higher levels of lacrosse. The environment creates opportunities for girls to enhance their skill set, including catching and finishing in tight spaces, increased creativity, playing defense against constant pressure, and improve their field game overall.
